Ah! Let the groundbreaking begin. Let the six-month planning of our custom home build finally get underway. But…not to be. Some zoning and red tape issues arose. Just as in the classic book, “Best Laid Plans of Mice and Men”.
No problem, I try to tell myself. There is a larger force out there to always remind us we are not in control. I will be patient; I will, I will, and continue with my decorating schemes and dreams. We thought we would break ground immediately after purchasing the land, but after a few hurdles it will be mid-July! It worked out in God’s perfect timing because we ended up making some major changes to the kitchen that were game changer for our home! We also found out we had some health issues with our 8 month old son and needed that time to focus on him. God always knows our needs and paves the way.
So then, where were we before a little bit of chaos kicked in?
Ah! Yes, I do recall the promise made to show you the 3 dimensional virtual tour of the proposed house which my Dad worked up to help us get a clear view of what to actually expect. I am not being biased when I say my Father, a recently retired design engineer, can and does do pretty much anything. He makes gorgeous custom curtains, can build just about anything, loves wood work, and can design any thing you could think of. He really is a Jack of all trades. The list goes on and on. Suffice it too say if anyone needs anything made to superior perfection, call me. I have connections to a creative can-do Father who is now open for business in the world of Virtual 3D as well as anything custom you could think of.
